Literature Text
Tell me you love me.
Tell me I'm all that matters because
Each time you see my face
It's something like fireflies in spring
Or the wild rush of wind in summer.
Tell me all that you can think about
On winter nights without me
Is the warmth of my body against yours,
So much greater than
The roaring fire I'd build before us,
My scent so much stronger
And more delicious than
Cups of steaming tea or cider.
Tell me even though it's hard to admit,
Your long-held walls have crumbled.
When I'm gone your skin aches
To touch itself to mine,
And your spirit shudders to think
I might not return to comfort it.
Tell me that when I do,
(Little one, I always will)
That our first embrace
Could shake cities to pieces in your heart and
The feeling of being swept up in my arms
Will always be enough to get you through.
Tell me...
Because I love you.
Tell me I'm all that matters because
Each time you see my face
It's something like fireflies in spring
Or the wild rush of wind in summer.
Tell me all that you can think about
On winter nights without me
Is the warmth of my body against yours,
So much greater than
The roaring fire I'd build before us,
My scent so much stronger
And more delicious than

Tell me even though it's hard to admit,

TELL ME
I know it's too late
But please, I need
to ask you something,
Can I still have a space
there in your heart?
Will you give me
a little chance
to love you?
My heart would be glad
to know if you
would answer back.

Sunset
It's quarter to seven, as I'm walking along the tired sunset.
And what a sky to fall into. Envy seeps into my vision.
As the sun embraces the intensity with full lips.
Anticipation. provocation.
It's bright red hand of a take over, Speaks-
In a million tender tongues. Each with a sliver
Of a ribbon of seduction. Elation and mystery.
The sun brings itself to it's warm knees,
As the glow becomes veiled and disappears.
The night will roll up so eyes will not see,
A play that certainly will make all of us,
Dream sweetly.
The sun is nonexistent as the sky burns a brighter red.
And the shape of it's hand slowly diminishes into the gray

Missing You
I don't think you miss me
Not as much as I miss you
It's impossible
You can't
You made me forget him
You still are
When I'm away,
I feel sad
Guilt
But together,
Feelings impossible to come by overwhelm me
It's pure joy
Something I haven't experienced in a few months
It's a drug
A drug that's impossible to forget
I've told you it's like quitting cold turkey
Well it's more than that
I need you in my life
Hugging you makes my day
But then you leave
Causing deep sadness to flow through me
I can't take it
Texting you,
It's fantastic
You text back
A thrill comes to my body
But then the conversation ends
And it hurts
